Spouses and live in medical caregivers can be younger, as was the case in Leisure World. Real estate is always available. When children inherit the homes of their parents, they are unable to move in to them, and therefore usually opt to sell. This makes the area something of a buyer's market, with many options and unusually low prices. This area has been heralded as one of the finest retirement communities in the nation, ever since it was founded as Leisure World. California homes are rarely this affordable.
